Whoops, I didn't do that right, I'll try this again......I just started taking synthroid for hypothyroidism. I found this website from yahoo search engine when I was looking for thyroid info. I weight 205 pounds and I want to lose weight but I am not very motivated. Any suggestions on how to get started, I want to try yoga and I know that I should eat better. I say that but when I actually try, I just can't get with it!! Just venting my frustrations. Thanks for listening :o)
: I JUST FOUND OUT 4 DAYS AGO THAT I HAVE HYPOTHYROIDISM I AM OVER WEIGHT IN FACT IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR I WEIGHED 316.5. THAN I JOINED WW AND HAVE LOST 34 POUNDS. UP TIL THE LAST MONTH OR SO I WAS LOSING 1-2 POUNDS A WEEK THAN THAT SLOWED DOWN TO .5-1 POUND A WEEK. BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT I WAS SLIPPING A LITTLE ON MY POINTS NOT ALOT BUT ENOUGH TO SLOW ME DOWN ALSO AND AS STRANGE AS THIS SOUNDS TO THOSE OF US WITH WEIGHT PROBLEMS SOMETIMES I GET CARRIED AWAY WITH WATCHING MY POINTS THAT I DON'T GET ENOUGH AND ON THOSE WEEKS I EITHER DON'T LOSE ANYTHING OR I HAVE EVEN GAIND WEIGHT. SO JUST REMEMBER TO EAT RIGHT-HIGH FIBER(FRUITS, VEGGIES...) TAKE A VITAMIN, GET ENOUGH CALCIUM, GET PLENTY OF EXERCISE AND SLEEP. ANOTHER WORDS JUST TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF.
